Compare

You can compare an application or module in the repository with an export file. The Compare option, available on the VO Tools menu whenever you have a module highlighted in the treeview, actually makes use of Export Explorer to perform the comparison.

When the Compare option is selected you are asked whether you want to compare the whole application or just the module:



After completing this dialog the code is written to a temporary file and a comparison is performed by Export Explorer. Any differences found are displayed in a window:



The usage of this window is discussed in the Export Explorer section.
